Expedition Overview
Embark on a thrilling three-day rafting expedition through the majestic Tara River canyon, covering a total distance of 80 kilometers. Our expertly trained raft guides and safety kayaker will guide you through the exhilarating rapids and stunning scenery, providing an unforgettable experience.
The adventure begins at our rafting center, where we’ll board a shuttle and venture through the breathtaking Durmitor National Park. Along the way, we’ll stop to marvel at the magnificent Djurdjevica Tara bridge, a famous landmark of the area.
Once on the river, we’ll navigate through rapids of varying intensity, ranging from class II to class IV, providing an exciting challenge for both novice and experienced rafters. Between rapids, we’ll have ample time to soak up the stunning canyon landscapes, including cascading waterfalls, mysterious caves, and awe-inspiring rock formations.
We’ll spend the night in a charming village nestled in the canyon, where you’ll enjoy the warm hospitality of the locals and indulge in delicious traditional cuisine. With comfortable camping equipment provided, you’ll be able to rest and recharge in preparation for another day on the river.

We spend the second night in a rural household in the village of Tepci, deep in the Tara canyon. If you want to spend the second night in a newly built three-star hotel in Radovan Luka, you need to add another €40 per person to these prices.

During the descent, dedicated photo kayaker follows the rafts and takes an average of 30-60 photos of each raft at 3-6 of the most attractive locations.
The photos are delivered on an SD card, or sent via WeTransfer, and you can get them for €60 per raft per day.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW
In order to successfully and safely book your program, it is necessary to make an advance payment in the amount of 30% of the total price.
In case of cancellation, we do not refund the advance payment. The paid arrangement can be used during the current season at another time, if the cancellation is announced at least 15 days before the arrival date.
If the arrangement is cancelled:
- 15-5 days before the announced arrival, 30% of the total amount will be charged,
- 4-1 days before the announced arrival, 50% of the total amount will be charged,
- 1 day before the announced arrival as well as no show, 100% will be charged.
It is not allowed to bring food or drinks into the camp area, especially in the areas intended for accommodation and rest of guests.
It is strictly forbidden to bring bluetooth speakers or any other loudspeakers into the camp area, especially in the areas intended for accommodation and rest of guests.
Consumption of alcohol before and during rafting is not allowed. Passengers who are under the influence of alcohol will not be allowed to go rafting.

Once you come, you won't want to leave... TARA RAFT! - The camp and its employees are characterized by a pleasant atmosphere and exceptional hospitality. In the first sense of the word, you feel at home and among your own people. Quality new equipment and internationally certified skippers guarantee that your experience on the river will be unforgettable and, above all, safe. From my personal experience, I can say that this is the only such camp on Tara, a beautiful place that I have been visiting for more than 15 years.

Adventure of a Taratime - Me and my friends went for a different kind of an experience for a bachelor party. Didn't regret that decision at any moment, as the scenery, the food, the bar, the apartments, the guides, the skipper Luka and everyone from the camp were fantastic and made our stay being even more awesome than expected.
Looking forward to coming back and we will warmly recommend it to everyone back home.
